Discover the real art of Paella Valenciana through an authentic private cooking experience guided by a true local from Valencia.
This is not a standard cooking class — it is an immersion into Valencian culture, traditions and lifestyle through one of the most iconic dishes in Spain: the original Paella Valenciana.
During the workshop, you will learn step by step how a real paella is made, understanding not only the technique, but also the history, origins and cultural importance behind every ingredient and every part of the process. Why these ingredients? Where does the dish come from? Why is paella so important in Valencian culture? All of this is explained naturally and interactively throughout the experience.
Guests actively participate in the cooking process while the chef also prepares his own paella so everyone can observe the traditional techniques and compare results during the workshop.
The experience can take place in:
- A private kitchen in Valencia city centre
- The client’s own accommodation or home
- Or, for the most authentic experience, at a local Valencian home, where guests can enjoy a more personal atmosphere and local lifestyle experience. Transportation assistance can also be arranged for this option.
After the meal, the experience continues with a traditional Spanish “sobremesa” — the relaxed time shared around the table after eating. This is the perfect moment to talk about Valencian lifestyle, local recommendations, traditions, gastronomy and everyday life in Valencia.
