During approximately 2.5-3 hours, we walk through the historic center while exploring one of the most important traditions in Valencian daily life: the esmorzar.

This is not just a food tour. It is a journey through the different ways locals enjoy their mid-morning meal. Through several tasting stops, you will discover how the esmorzar changes depending on the occasion, the lifestyle, and even the time available.

We begin by exploring the tradition of quick bites and local cured meats, learning how workers and market vendors have enjoyed their morning break for generations. Later, we discover another side of the tradition through one of Valencia’s most iconic everyday classics. Finally, we experience the full esmorzar culture with a generous local-style stop that shows why this meal is considered almost sacred by Valencians.

Along the way, we visit the Central Market, the Silk Exchange, Town Hall Square and other historic landmarks while uncovering the connection between food, history and local identity. We share stories, traditions and recommendations that most visitors never discover on their own.
