Embark on a relaxed and engaging journey through some of Valencia’s most iconic landmarks, starting by the Turia River near the historic Serrano Towers and finishing in the vibrant city center.
Discover the essence of Valencia’s Old Town as you explore the Turia River Gardens, Torres de Serrano, Plaza de la Virgen, Valencia Cathedral, Plaza de la Reina, Plaza Redonda, and the famous Central Market.
Throughout the experience, you’ll enjoy a carefully selected variety of traditional Valencian tapas, local specialties and drinks — thoughtfully chosen depending on the season and your group to showcase authentic local flavors beyond the typical tourist experience.
The experience begins with an outdoor tasting moment by the Turia River while learning about the region’s culinary culture, traditions, and daily life. From the famous esmorzar tradition to local ingredients, orange culture, olive oil, family recipes, and the story behind Valencia’s gastronomy, every part of the experience is designed to help you understand the city through its food.
As the tour continues through the historic center, you’ll discover hidden corners, local stories, and cultural traditions before finishing at a local bar near the city center for a final tapas and drink experience in a relaxed atmosphere.
This is more than just food — it’s about understanding Valencia through its flavors, traditions, and everyday culture. To make the experience even more special, guests will also receive a small traditional Valencian-inspired surprise to remember the journey.
Price: From €69 per person. Final price depends on the group size and any specific requests.
(Please note: this tour focuses on traditional tapas and local gastronomy experiences. Paella is not included, but we’ll be happy to recommend some of the best authentic places outside the tourist center where locals truly go to enjoy it. In the evening tour, the Central Market will be closed. During high-temperature periods or low season, the route may vary slightly to ensure the best experience while maintaining the same essence and food tastings.)

Payment Information: A deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance will be paid in person on the day of the experience.

Even though we had some unexpected bad weather Pablo managed to keep us entertained, especially our kid 🙂 and we managed to try all the tapas and drinks. We also learned a lot about Valencia along the way. Definitely recommend the tour if you are looking for something off the beaten path!

My friends and I did the Valencia Old Town Flavour Walk with Pablo and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Pablo was extremely knowledgeable in the way that only locals can be and he brought so much humour and good cheer that it was hard not to have fun despite the somewhat gloomy weather. Shoutout as well to Christian who was our main point of contact prior to the tour and was a saint, dealing with the multiple questions and queries we had before we decided to book. 10/10 I would definitely go on a tour with these guys again (and I have!)
